Review: Called on a Saturday morning for 20 long stemmed roses to place on a coffin on Monday for a hastily arranged funeral. Obviously, a long shot, but lady on the phone was abrupt, rude and so unhelpful, finishing off by saying she had 18 and when I asked the price and said I’d swing by to collect them that afternoon she advised me that she couldn’t promise there would be 18 when I arrived to collect. I’d already called my usual florist who couldn’t oblige but was still nice on the phone and who didn’t question why I’d left it so late like Michelle’s did! I ended up calling another local florist who happily put 20 to the side for me. How difficult is it to be kind, even if you can’t help? A florist probably sees people at their happiest and they’re most upset, I couldn’t believe I had this experience by with them.
